A confidential document from Carl Bucherer (the CEO) of luxury group Richemont and Bucherer to distributors has mentioned an upcoming store that shall be three storeys tall and have a total area of 2,200 square meters near the Place Vendôme in Paris.
The store which shall open in 2013 is supposed to be the largest store in the world dedicated to luxury watches. It is expected to have all the famous and prestigious watch brands that one can think of and then some. For those not familiar with Richemont and Bucherer, the company owns some extremely famous brands including Cartier, Vacheron-Constantin, Piaget, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Montblanc and Baume & Mercier.
However there has been no official word from Richemont and Bucherer confirming the store opening. As an idea, we think its past due that someone did make such a store. The city (Paris) sounds like a great choice and there cant be a better group then Richemont and Bucherer to push this project through.
