Gold Flaked Tequila Pop goes for $1000 a pop
A popsicle that lays claim to being the most exclusive and expensive in the world has to made from gold said I to myself when I first heard about this one. I had no clue how literally the makers of the $1000 popsicle would have taken my words. Created from Tequilas Premium Clase Azul Ultra (which by itself costs $1500 a bottle) and 24 karat gold flakes (which explain the price) ; its available at the the Marquis Los Cabos resort in Baja California Sur, Mexico.
It comes along with some sugar to make it easier to gulp in ; but since yours truly has never had the chance to ingest gold or gold flakes or any gold in any sort of form at all ; he is at a loss to suggest whether this makes sense.
This $1000 popsicle would be the perfect appetiser followed by the $5000 bowl of soup and a $200 pizza pie. You could relish it all down with the most expensive ice-cream too that was made in honor of the royal wedding.
