The recent tie-up between the famous German luxury watch brand, A Lange & Sohne and Paris-based jewelry store Dubail has resulted in the creation of the marvelous piece, a unique version of the already marvelous Tourbograph Pour le Merite watch. Each watch from A. Lange & Sohne with the “Pour le Merite” label is special and limited.

I feel diamonds are the purest and most unadulterated way of expressing luxury in its finest form. And imagine what could be more attractive than a hand-made watch in an all white gold case and bracelet, with over 40 carats of stunning clear white diamonds? The $1.75 million Caliber L903.0 movement is manually wound, and has a tourbillion, split-seconds chronograph, and a power reserve indicator. The movement has 600 tiny pieces in it. For whatever reason the other chronograph seconds hand is missing in the image, but perhaps that is just a highly touched up rendering. The actual watch will be a Dubail, at the Place Vendome in Paris. Dubail commissioned the watch from A. Lange & Sohne, so it is possible that there is already a buyer for it. Cool, isn’t it?
