David Tutera’s latest creation was showcased at the grand finale at the “David Tutera by Faviana” wedding dress collection runway show on September 22, 2009 at Gotham Hall in New York City. Believe it or not, this special platinum wedding gown is for half a million dollars.
The dress is the result of a tie-up between Tutera, a wedding planner and host of WEtv’s “My Fair Wedding” and red-carpet jewelry designer, Erica Courtney. The gown is bathed in jewelry including a 10 feet of platinum chain, 33 carats of diamonds, and 145.84 carats of aquamarine, white keshi pearls and topped with a white south sea pearl pendant suspended from platinum! But that’s not all. The dress also comes with a matching platinum-colored tulle veil and bouquet! I really don’t think the dress is worth $501,640, it looks like some kind of patchwork to me.
