Prince Harry to be a multi-millionaire on his 25th birthday
Prince Harry may not be celebrating his 25th birthday today but his name will definitely be added to the list of multi-millionaires. The birthday means Harry inherits his share of Princess Diana’s fortune, estimated at 9million pounds. He and brother, William, 27, inherited about 6.5million pounds each when their mum died 12 years ago. It has been invested and gathered substantial interest.
Unfortunately for them, both are prevented from spending the huge amount until they turn 30. But all income generated by Harry’s portion of the estate – around £300,000 a year – will go into his bank account from next week. A source said Harry, a Lieutenant in the Household Cavalry, wouldn’t celebrate because he will be busy on his helicopter flying course. The source added: “It’s unlikely he will even be allowed a drink.”
