Mary J Blige teams up with Gucci for her charitable organization
Mary J Blige, the award-winning singer has teamed up with Gucci create a limited edition watch that will benefit Blige’s charity Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now. The limited edition timepiece is a variation of the much hyped ‘Twirl” watch. It has the ability to transform from wristwatch to sleek bracelet with a quick flip of the case.
Mary’s Gucci Twirl watch is scheduled to be released at Gucci’s Fifth Avenue Store in NY on September 16th and other outlets thereafter. A portion of the sales from the $1,895 watch (engraved with the words “Gucci for FFAWN”) will go to the organization, which aims to help women bounce back from traumatic experiences and realize their goals through career development and personal growth programs, as well as scholarships.
