The latest brand to enter the Only Watch 2009 event is the Swiss luxury watch brand, Bovet. The brand has created a unique timepiece which recreates in miniature the world’s most famous painting–Leonardo Da Vinci’s immortal Mona Lisa. It feels really nice to know, these celebrated brands are working so much in the name of charity.

The Bovet Trilogy watch for Only Watch 2009 takes its title from the capabilities of the exceptional 42mm 18K rose gold case. The hand-craved Feurisanne engraving on the flanks, the lugs and on the signature Bovet curved bow is picturesque. Featuring the classic pocket watch-styled case bow which has become a virtual signature of Bovet, this model may be worn as a wristwatch, a pocket watch, or displayed as a table clock.
An elegant set of well chose blue sapphire cabochons can bee seen on the winding crown and the outer hinge of the bow display. We are told that the immortal Mona Lisa painting’s scaled down version took the master artist almost a month to complete. Apparently, all the work was done under a microscope with a minuscule set of brushed and a chosen palette of colors. The final effect is without any surprise, stupendous against the opalescent background of black mother of pearl.
