Motorola’s Aura caused a sharp intake of breath from the first moment I saw the images. The Aura has a round display and a rotating top section that flips round 180 degrees to reveal the keyboard. Motorola Aura is a unique handset that breaks convention and re-establishes artistry in the design and manufacturing of mobile phones. In its new commercial famous football player David Beckham appears in rather unusual role of Terminator.

The advertise shows how inner power and precision drives outward beauty and a finely sculpted form, similar to the design of Aura and Beckham himself. The photo session was made in Milan by celebrated Hollywood director Anthony Mandler. The refinement of the handset is something that impressed Beckham who said: “Motorola always seem to come up with something different, a concept that no one else has, and they’ve certainly done that again with Aura.”
