Versace Launches Luxury Phone : The Versace Unique
Versace has tied up with LG and ModeLabs Group to come up with its own brand of luxury cell phones. All known brands in the luxury industry are jumping onto the cell phone bandwagon, though to be fair to Versace they have been working on this handset since the past one year.
The Versace Unique Phone
The Versace Unique shall be crafted from precious and unique materials such as 18 karat yellow gold, shiny steel and leather. Thankfully, the handset does have a touchscreen (even Vertu just announced a touchscreen luxury handset yesterday with Tag Heuer announcing a White Lizard diamond phone). The Unique shall also boast of a 5 megapixel camera, 3G speeds, an, MP3 player, e-mail as well as Dolby Mobile surround sound.
As with an iPhone where users are proud to show off the brand, Versace too has stamped the leather back of the Unique with its Medusa logo. To be available in optional colors of purple, black and brown ; prepare to pay around $5000 for the luxury of owning a Unique cell-phone.
