The $500,000 Baron Surf Board
Surf Lovers would give an arm and a leg to get to surf on this beauty even once. The 12 foot, 45 pound Baron Surfboard is probably the most expensive surf board in history and what makes it so is that it can literally allow you to fly over the oceans.
Roy Stewart, the creator of this surf board claims that the boards are the most advanced ever built according to hydro dynamics using special techniques. The Baron boards are built using parallel profile construction techniques where layers of wood are laminated over a mold. The final board is hand shaped to the customer’s specifications. The Baron may be the most expensive of the lot, but its not the only one that Roy makes. Other boards include the Ghost, Duke, Makaha, Chieftain , Laird and Sun. Each of the board has its own specialty but we would rather you ask Roy about them in detail. Howver, given a chance we would love to see someone use the Sun in reality.
