Real Silver Bit-Coins : Digital Currency in Silver

Not many of you may have heard of a Bitcoin – unless you are a techno nerd so please bear with me while I explain. Bitcoin is a digital currency that enables payments at low cost without needing centralised payment processors. I wont go into further details, since Wikipedia explains it beautifully well and all it would result would be a copy-paste hack job. The video below also explains well if you dont like reading a wall of text.

Now given that it is an alternative currency, one can freely convert from USD to EUR or GBP to Bitcoin and vice-versa. More details on exchange rates seen here. Some budding genius has now embarked upon the idea of creating real silver coins in 1 gm silver rounds. Stamped with the Bitcoin sign , these are real coins – and the first digital currency in a physical form. Obviously the coins make no sense as legal tender, but rather as an investment (since its pure silver) and its value as something that you could pass on to the future generations.
