    Virgin gives new meaning to First Class with Whispering Flight Attendants

    Most of us in the cattle class (or Economy class, if you prefer the politically correct form) in a flight would be happy with a few more inches of legroom. Not so in the first class. Apparently, they even get disturbed by the tone in which the air crew asks them for their drink. This means that the Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Suite flight crew is now being trained in using the proper decibel level to speak with. The ideal tone is supposed to be between 20 to 30 decibels – just enough to be coherent without disturbing other passengers.
