The family stubbornly refused to part with this treasure over the generations. The wine had been stored in a remote wine lodge. However with the death of the last surviving member of the family, the heirs decided to place the wine on sale.

A dressing gown that Michael Jackson was wearing off-stage from a concert is going under the hammer for an expected price of £4,000 ($6270). The story behind the gown makes for interesting reading. The gown was wore off-stage by MJ in a concert at Liverpool in 1988. At the same concert was the (now) owner of this gown. The owner (who prefers to remain anonymous) claims that her husband had acted as chauffeur to Jackson during his stay in Liverpool and so she was able to obtain a backstage pass for the concert.
