Inside Petra Ecclestone’s Mansion : The Manor
We know you love to see inside the mansions of the rich and famous. After all each time we took you inside, you loved it ( Inside the most expensive home in the world , Inside One Hyde Park ). This time, we managed to get a peek inside Petra Ecclestone’s recently purchased mansion thanks to the Daily Mail. The Manor that Petra has purchased is the largest home in Los Angeles.

Petra purchased this 56,000 square feet mansion last summer for $85 million (pocket change for the daughter of Bernie Ecclestone – one of the richest man in the world). It took a mere 12 weeks for the changes that Petra wanted, to be implemented in ‘the Manor’ thanks to a team of 500 (no mistakes here, she actually put five hundred workers to get the work done immediately) and of course the vision of British designer Gavin Brodin.

The property was purchased since Petra plans to spend a lot of time in LA thanks to her new fashion line – Stark. The Manor boasts of 14 bedrooms, several living rooms , a pool , a solarium as well as a bowling alley, a cinema and a bar. And that, is just the ground floor.

The second floor of the ‘home’ has six huge guest rooms having impressive names such as the Prince Charles suite and a 7000 square foot master suite. This includes a kitchen, living room, his and hers closets and of course, a bedroom. Petra has converted a room into a spa with a massage parlour, three hair stations and two mani-pedi stations (we wonder if she has friends dropping in all the time for the same, or if its just something that she wants to have ‘just in case’).

Petra’s husband – James Stunt has taken over a large portion of the ground floor (away from the other rooms we wrote about). This office houses an enormous aquarium filled with puffer fish and angelfish.

The Manor was originally built in 1991 by Aaron and Candy Spelling – of TV fame. The Manor is the latest addition to Petra’s collection of houses (remember the $83 million mansion specifically for her pooches?). For a bride whose wedding cost $5 million, another $85 million property scarcely matters.
