    Remember we told you the story behind the world’s most expensive coffee and where it comes from. So while most of you must have read our story or even tasted this coffee that comes from the poop of the Asian Palm Civet, we couldn’t help but share these amazing images that TIME came up with. We thought this really deserved a space in our blog! Enjoy!

    Wayan inspects the roast coffee beans. Unlike heavily roasted coffees, Kopi Luwak is roasted lightly with beans ranging from cinnamon color to medium, giving it a unique taste.

    Love the smell of fresh coffee beans. Don’t know if these smell the same.

    And this is how it looks. Kopi Luwak can sell for upward of $227 a pound. Its largest markets are in Japan and South Korea. The taste has been described as “unique, mild, and smooth with a hint of dark chocolate and secondary notes of earth and musk.”
