Hitler certainly seems to be the flavor of the month. We featured a personally autographed copy of his autobiography Mein Kampf which created a new record with its price recently. Now we are told that Hitler – who was fond of painting (which is a little known fact) had his easel stored in the Nazi party headquarters in Munich. The easel was ‘liberated’ by an allied soldier at the end of the war.
The easel was called as Adolf’s easel thereafter and it remained in possession of the soldier’s family. The easel is to be auctioned at Mullock’s auction house in Ludlow, Shrops, on Tuesday. It is expected to fetch a decent price of 25,000$ (£15,000) plus.
