Always dreamt of owning an apartment in the world’s most expensive address? Well, here’s your chance, One Hyde Park has opened its doors. After what feels like eternity, Candy & Candy brothers, the brainchild behind the exquisite venture celebrated the day with a grand opening.

The gala event boasted of 350 guests including Gary Lineker, actress Holly Valance and Bernie Ecclestone and had 5,000 gold balloons flown in the air from the roof at Knightsbridge. As the name suggests the exclusive apartments face the Hyde Park and have a start-up price of 6.5m pounds($10.37m) for a one-bedroom and 140m ($223m) pounds for a penthouse.

The price per square foot which is reportedly the highest ever paid for a residential space is 6,000 pounds. If rumors are to be believed about 65% of the luxury apartments have already been sold. Only prospective buyers can actually get all the exact costing details and as we are nowhere even close to being the buyers, we can only give you a little information that we have.

One Hyde Park enjoy sumptuous shared features including a cinema, a 21m swimming pool, saunas, a gym, a golf simulator, a wine cellar and a valet service. Residents can call on valets, a concierge and butler room service from the next-door Mandarin Oriental hotel’s two restaurants, overseen by Heston Blumenthal and Daniel Boulud.

The development also contains three boutiques which include Rolex and McLaren.

Hmmmm. And then they say money can’t buy you everything, yeah right!
